The Habibie Center was founded in 1999 by Indonesia's third president, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie and his family as a non-profit and independent think tank organization, with the mission to realize a structurally and culturally democratic society that recognizes, respects, and promotes human rights, as well as increasing the effectiveness of human resource management and technology socialization.

We invite individuals like you who share the same mission to be involved in our efforts to find practical and sustainable solutions to various development challenges, such as human resource empowerment, poverty alleviation, environmental crisis and climate change, better child nutrition, stunting prevention, gender and minority inclusion, and mainstreaming inclusive and equitable development.
